Working In the Schools (WITS)

Working In the Schools (WITS) creates positive learning communities through a portfolio of volunteer literacy mentor programs and teacher professional development; a comprehensive design to inspire students’ passion for reading.

Ronald McDonald House

Many families travel far from home and spend several weeks or months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children – a long time to be away or to divide a family. And, for children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having mom and dad close by for love and support. A Ronald McDonald House is that “home-away-from-home” for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost.

Misericordia offers a community of care that maximizes potential for persons with mild to profound developmental disabilities, many of whom are also physically challenged. By serving society’s most vulnerable citizens, Misericordia also serves the families who want the best for them, yet cannot provide it at home.

Alzheimer’s Association

The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research.
